Projects
Air Products & Chemicals
The Sundevil H2 project was one that Southland Mechanical completed for Air Products & Chemicals within the Intel Ocotillo Facility in Chandler, Arizona. This labor-intensive HVAC project involved installing 25, 25-ton rooftop units, six rooftop exhaust fans, and all HVAC ducting for RTU’s, EF’s, and exhaust for the water treatment equipment the facility used.
Frito Lay Manufacturing
One of the world’s largest chip producers, Frito Lay, trusts Southland Mechanical to handle its HVAC service needs in Texas. We recently completed a project with them that involved installing a brand-new HVAC unit on their facility’s rooftop.
H-E-B Grocery Chain
Southland Mechanical serves a multitude of industrial and retail customers. Working regularly with the popular grocery chain, H-E-B, that operates various locations throughout the Houston area, we maintain all of the retailer’s HVAC systems.
Intermountain Power Plant
Set in the remote area of Delta, Utah, Intermountain Power partnered with Southland Mechanical to install an HVAC system while its plant was under construction. Our dedicated team of installers leveraged their experience to manage the various logistical issues that arose during the project.
Mallard Water Treatment Plant
Located in Lexington, Texas, within the complex where technology company, Samsung, operates a plant, Southland Mechanical recently executed a project for the Mallard Water Treatment facility.
Natural Gas Customer
A natural gas customer of ours, who operates several industrial facilities and natural gas booster stations around Texas, required our expert team to service its HVAC systems. Part of the project included executing design-assist functions while also inspecting and maintaining the company’s HVAC equipment.
Occidental Chemical Corporation
In the community of La Porte, Texas, Occidental Chemical Corporation operates a refinery that needed a reliable HVAC system to withstand its harsh industrial climate. This OxyChem Battleground project, just outside of Houston, turned out to be a fast-paced project that demanded rigorous attention to safety.
Oil Refinery Customer
Located in Baytown, Texas, an oil refinery customer of Southland Mechanical had a facility that was more than 100 years old. While still active, this operational refinery presented several safety hazards, and servicing its HVAC systems introduced some alarming logistical concerns.
TPC Lab Reconstruction
TPC Lab Reconstruction, located in Houston, Texas is an industrial customer of ours that maintains a plant in need of Southland Mechanical’s expert HVAC, engineering, and piping services.
ZHU-ACEPS-FAA
This HVAC and piping project, in collaboration with the Federal Government, was a challenge on many levels. The assignment took place in Houston, Texas, and involved performing an upgrade of an existing battery backup system and the HVAC systems that condition the space.
